GW ink containers

Does anyone else have a problem with GW ink containers with the screw off lids leaking? It seems like theres always a little bit of ink stuck at the top of the cap and when i put it back on it drains down and makes a mess. Is there another brand of inks I can try? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Dont know if I\'d agree about the quality. But any art store should have tonnes of ink for you. More colours and cheaper than GW. Even white ink.

I travel alot and pack my paints in my Suitcase. I have had whole bottles of ink empty themselves in my bag. I dont use them now becuase of that. I still use the old style inks with the press on lid but they are still messy.

I was told this happens because checked baggage can sometime be not under cabin pressure and the ink will then expand and force itself out of the containers since its so thin like water. Paint which is thicker does not have this trouble. If I take paints with when I fly, Ill carry then in my carry on luggage. Or at least the inks I will.

FW artists inks :)

The come in a decent bottle with a pipette, you can buy transluscent or opaque colours, and best of all I get my favourite white ink !!

They may be a bit more expensive than GW (I can\'t remember the prices these days), but you get 29.5 ml compare to the 12ml you get in GW
