New Wash Review
and for the lazy folks heres a snapshot of the conversation

The local store here got a set of them in this week, and has had them out for people to use, and I gave them a go.
I have to say, they are COMPLETELY different than what the rumors have made them out to be, and I was quite impressed.
I was expecting them to be a \"magic wash\" version of the current inks, which sounded good, as I use the future floor wax with all of my current inks.
They are nothing at all like that.
Firstly, the washes themselves are \"viscous\", not thick like a paint, but when you put it on the model, it is visibly thick, not watery like the inks.
Secondly, the washes are very subdued. The first coat of black over white gave a very nice effect, while not completely covering the white basecoat like the ink would. The second coat made me say \"wow, 2 washes, and that is a perfectly shaded grey boltgun.
I believe they are designed so you can easily layer up colours using multiple coats of the washes.
The viscosity of the wash really allows you to control where you are applying it, unlike an ink, which just tends to flow into creases and down the model.

I only tried 3 of the colours. The black, red, and mud.
I can see the mud being people\'s new favorite.
Again, beautiful over white, but over the tallarn flesh, the skin was done in 1 coat of each and looked great.

I just thought I\'d see if anyone else had tried them, and what your thoughts were.

hope this helps.
i myself have picked up a lot of the disco\'d inks and paints but will also have to get some of these.
oh well
