there proberly been a thread like this before,
but is it just me or does anyone here have a problem with blending properly with gw paints.
i find that they dry way to quickly and watering the paint down does oposite effect. my main problem is due to my job i dont have time to shop around much for paints and resort to using the the paints my father buys.

is there any hints to follow to allow blending with gw paints or do i need to put some time aside to order some different paints either online or at a shop?

I\'ve found GW needs to be thinned at least 1:1. If that does not give you enough time, you\'re doing something wrong.

Most mini painting is not truely wet blended like in oil paints, but is layered and glazed, similar to water color techniques. Thin enough to allow the layer below to show through, and build up successive layers.

Lots of them. Search is your friend.

Are you trying to actually blend - one colour into another colour, wet? Or are you having trouble doing transitions when applying a lighter or darker colour in layers over a middle colour?
