GW price hike

Well I found out that GW is raising prices in April. With all the increases over the last couple of years they have finally priced me and my \"blue colar\" buddies right out of the game. I still have my army for both 40k and Fantasy, but I will not start a new one. Let me know your thoughts pepole.:flame:

Well I think that I have more than said my opinion on this Topic the last few day\'s. So I will Take Ebonbuddha\'s sugestion and have a drink or 2. How does straight vodka sound. :D:D:D:D:|~

well evilbeetles, you have two choices; like it or lump it. Yes it\'s expensive, yes there are other minis out there, but as a former employee I\'m glad that they are finally paying their staff well - and so I\'m not grumbling too loudly about the price increase, the dosh has to come from somewhere.... I\'ll just have to drink less beer I guess ;)

damn, I was just planning to get back into 40K but if it costs too much, I\'ll probably put off miniatures for a while.

PS. I think the price of their super glue summarizes how incredibly overpriced all their inventory is. Games Workshop Super Glue is $10 Cdn. I can find the same amount easily for twice less, if not more!

Oddly enough, I have never gotten sick off of rum. Tequila, yes, but rum... never. Not even when I\'ve drunk an entire fifth of the stuff by myself in under 2 hours. Of course, I couldn\'t feel my legs and I definitely talked like a pirate, but I didn\'t even have a hangover the next morning.:]

Of course, seeing the prices on new GW stuff... well: :|~

The worst hangover I ever had was when I comsumed an entire cookie tray (not the small ones mind you!) of jello shots in under and hour and had 3 or 4 other drinks as well. Tequila usually does not effect me that bad, I could down a 5th in under 2 hours and still be going. Must be because I have been doing Tequila shots since I was 5. They joys of haveing an alcholholic father, with little sensibilities. :D

now vodka get me hurling. I drank a bottle of red wine and some doctored vodka (added sugar) follwed by some cider when I was 16. tsk. kids.

even the smell of vodka reminds me of that horrible hangover, and the dreadful nights \'sleep\'

Trust me- I worked at a detox for 7 years- the guys that usually get the worst booze poisoning are the vodka drinkers. God, they were sick. Imagine a green potato- now liquify it, ferment it and drink that gunk.

Yeah, but fine vodka (not Monarch; Grey Goose for example) is good. ;)

The juice that I cannot stomach the smell of would be Southern Comfort. The thought makes me ill all over again. What\'s in that crap anyway?!?
