Yes, I was overly dismissive of GW\'s new stuff - after all I painted that warrior priest - but the good thing i was trying to point out was that their classic/collectors\' stuff stays the same price with all these rises, and there are plenty of gems to be found if you trawl for a while.

Not the figures I was on about.
Just look at GW\'s financial results from the past few years on their site. Prices have increased above inflation, whilst turnover has dropped massively, as have profits.
You don\'t have to be Einstein to work out that they\'re selling less product to less customers.

Can we PLEASE stop using this as some kind of complaint or brilliant insight? Exactly what company isn\'t in it for the money? For that matter, what individual isn\'t in it for the money? How many of us would do our jobs if we weren\'t getting paid? Yeah, I like my job, but I wouldn\'t do it for free. Please, in one way or another, we\'re all in it for the money. Like GW or don\'t like GW, that\'s your call, but don\'t complain about them doing it for the money as if YOU don\'t do what you do for money
And, no, students AREN\'T an exception. Most of them do what they do in hopes of future money. And neither are non-profit companies because, with very, very few exceptions, the people who work for them all get paid. The only people who aren\'t doing something \"for the money\" have either already made their money or are living off the largess of others.

But hang on isn\'t their pricing meant to be easy to remember? A is £4, just add a pound as you go up. So, um how will this work? there is already a £12 price band, won\'t this mess up the system a bit? Why ruin something that is perfectly fine? thats my view.
p.s i am converting my OandG trolls from river trolls with more fur. snow trolls all the way!

I second that!! Ridiculous!
The Alten Ashley mini was $10, and it is smaller than their previous offerings. The new Earthborn Dire Troll is almost $50. That isn\'t the Extreme version - this is a new version for stores.
Other than that - I quit buying new GW stuff long ago. I think we are all sick of these threads by now.
