GW rant!

I just finished taking out the trash. All the wet stuff was in a cast-off Citadel plastic bag. The (##\"%%¤&& bag busted on the stairs betweeen the second and third floors in our building and the wet stuff was all over the place!

If GW charges soooooo much for their wares, they could at least give us bags of a decent quality!

I was chatting up a bird at the local once, looked like she was up for a shag, then all of a sudden GW comes up all pissed, and throws up on her. She runs away covered in sick, and I had to go home and take a cold shower. I hate GW!

Does this really qualify as a rant against GW? Or just their shoddy packaging?

I guess they\'re one and the same.

Unless that \'cast-off bag\' had been cast off for a reason?

Funny thing is, I really like GW bags. They\'re the best thing about shopping direct from a GW store, esp. considering one place near me is buy one, get 50% off the next mini of equal or lesser price.

I bet those would be local gaming stores that carry GW products. Official stores don\'t generally have discounts AFAIK.

:rolleyes: GW bags are intended to carry GW merchandise only. GW did not design them to carry wet stuff, trash, disposable diapers or Rackham boxes. Neither did they test the bags at the altitudes achieved by 2nd and 3rd floors. The bags are supposed to contain the glory of GW alone and to proclaim the allegiance of the bearer enroute between store and home.

Sorry, marineboy, this is an illegal rant. ;)

Edit: On the matter of the mail-order boxes, the boxes are generic and without GW devices. You are free to use those as you wish. (I love them too lol)

Certain of these boxes are GW-marked. (Image tomorrow to prove this wild allegation) I\'ll have to rethink my re-use strategies for these.

Maybe you were using Edition 3 bags.

You should really move up to Edition 6, they are double strong, plus you can\'t get support or questions answered on Edition 3.

Yes, but Edition 6 bags will shortly become obsolete with the imminent release of Edition 7: The Uber-Bags.

I suggest waiting for this, then you could either pick up the 6th edition bags cheap on Ebay or head straight for the latest bag. Expect to pay twice as much and it to hold half as much....:D
