GW\'s Max Schreiber

Has anyone else seen the new Max Schreiber GW is releasing? For those who don\'t know, Max is a companion of Felix and Gotrek (and quite possible my favorite character from the novels). I\'ll definately be picking one up. I\'ll have to repaint my Felix and Gotrek models and get the whole crew together :D, I wonder if they\'ll be releasing Snorri too... Anyways what are your thoughts on the mini?

There you go, the whole Group...

They will be in about 45 mm scale, in between Inquisitor and Warhammer miniatures...

You will approximately be able to buy them as single Miniatures (about 14 EURO each...) or all together with this fashy Resin Base... about 80 EURO all in all...

OMG. WOW. I\'m definately gonna have to splurge on that one. So they are doing the whole crew (Ulrika too!). 80 euros though... Oh well. My wallet is gonna hurt for a while but it\'s worth it. Any idea when they come out?

Just noticed Felix has two swords... that\'s odd...

@Tony - yeah, a lot of people are confused as to why Felix has two swords. There is a new book (orcslayer) out soon, so maybe it will be explained in that

I agree Snorri looks a little odd. He\'s supposed to have nails in his head instead of hair. Can\'t remember whether the book says they are that colour or not. I think they would look better painted as metal.

Just a thought - if these are larger scale that normal GW minis, does that mean they could be entered into Large Scale model at GD ???

Should be an interesting new line if they have more releases planned. A Collectors line is a good idea. Wonder if they\'ll be available in stores or Mail Order only

i would guess that they would be mail order only.

it\'s good news for collectors and painters tho. it meens our voices have been heard at last.

Nice ones! :) Both the painting and sculpting of Max is very good, definately a mini I\'d like to paint. I need to see more pictures of the rest to have an opinion.

Max definately doesn\'t look like I pictured him from the books, but thats not a bad thing at all.

The \'Dwarf Slayer\' series is incredibley fun to read, among the best of all the \'Black Library\' books. (IMO of course)

I think they look very cool, but I wonder why the larger scale?

Hmm, yeah, its sad they are that big, \'cuz it mean that they cant be used to game with.. But of course they are collector stuff so...lol

It is a collector model...not for any army.....

Ulrika-ka-kaaaa!

I think the nicest of those pieces is the Ulrika piece. Cheeky little piece. Very impressed. The paint job on Max is impressive too.

That model is fantastic (although I haven\'t read any G and F books, I think it is wonderful :D)

I wish it was in 28mm :(

NO only the base there on is resin the models are metal. I saw some of these at GD Atl. the scale is not to far of so you should be able to sneek them in to your armys.
Also it works nice for gotrek as he has been getting bigger and bigger in the books has he not.;)
