Gw staff?

Hey, Just a thought, why are gw staff not allowed to enter other categories than open? I know the reason, but it just seems ridiculous to me. Most of the staff that work in gw stores are not good enough to win a deamon. I do not belive the staff would be a threat agains the regulars. i think only the eavy metal team should have this rule.
your thoughts?

just a guess but it probably avoids conflicts with local laws about employees not being elligible for store-sponsored contests.
(for example, if you work for McDonalds, you can\'t win the Monopoly game)

To eliminate any questions about conflict of intrest. Last think GW wants is to deal with entrants complaining that the contest was \"fixed\" The US division of GW has done a smart thing in my opinion of setting up a mini demons for it own employees to compete in.

Plus I imagine there might be the perception that although the judging wasn\'t fixed, that employees might have some extra insight into what the judges would like in a miniature.

My thoughts exactly. I have asked GW staff before about this and they pretty much said what DFD said.

It is just as said before it keeps down conficts of intrest and complants as well as the advantage of knowing whats comming out early and the easy acsess to bitz for extinsive covertions. thats why we have our on catagorys and we can enter open as it is not elagable for the slayer sword.

Its a fair call. I think they get thier compensations and as ebbon says we dont need another GW conspiracy
