Haven\'t posted here before, but have a few things up in the voting gallery thingy, and would like to share my latest mini.

It\'s not bad at all, although I feel that the photos aren\'t really good enough to judge the paint job properly. The silvery metals look to be the weak point to me, they just don\'t look as well done as the rest of the mini. In all though it seems to be fairly smooth and a decent enough paint job.

He\'s cool. I think this model will be overdone pretty soon, but it\'s not the case yet.
The shading on the grey is a bit rough in some places. The face looks great.

Firstly, welcome to the \"CMON community facility for the mini obsessed and mentally unstable\" - I\'m sure you\'ll love it here

I have to say that as first posts go, that\'s pretty good. I\'m particularly impressed by the pattern on the cloak and the shield detail too. I like the metals, book and skin too. In fact the only slight niggle I have is with the grey areas - I don\'t think it\'s a strong enough colour for the model and it makes me think of pyjamas but that\'s just my personal opinion (and I\'m usually wrong - just ask my wife :no: ).

You already know what I think mate but I will tell you again here, just awesome. The blue cloak is fantastic and the freehand on the cloak really makes the model IMO.

As above though, the metallics look like a weak point and could use some tightening up. A bit more light/levels correction for the photos would be nice to help judge the paintwork better!

I must admit the weak point is the grey jammys, but I wanted them to look bland, so the rest stood out.lol
