Still got another six months to go on current contract EB so theres lots of time. I may even renew should the uncertain finaces of the current employer work themselves out. So we should catch up at some time :)

We normally get freezing weather and some form of snow along with our hallowe\'en. This year it started out windy and cold and got nicer and nicer as the evening went on. My kids went out to a record (for them) amount of houses and will be keeping us eating sweets well past xmas.

Many of the houses on our street are decorated and mine is no exception. Even had the creepy music going outside.

The tombstones and sarcophagus are homemade out of some 4 inch thick carved and painted foamboard. The entire area was lit by the skulls, pumpkins and yellow lights (bottom pic).

Aaaand somewhere in our display is an important and very desirable mini-painting related item being used as a prop...
Can you find it and guess what it is?

Actually the pumpkins were meant to scare away evil spirits, where the giving 15 year olds who arnt even wearing a costume sweets comes from I have no idea
The 15yr olds I don\'t mind so much, it was that group of ADULTS that came around 9:30PM that annoyed the shit out of me. It looked like 4 thirty yr olds, and a woman who looked like she was around 50. There must have been a \'Goth Reunion\' party somewhere in the neighborhood!

The kids made out well, after I did the \'fatherly\' thing and tested ALL their candy. :D

Yes. I also feel it is my fatherly duty to take out all the reese peanut butter cups from their bags. Those things are bad for them, so I will keep them.

I\'m gonna guess the golden demon... or maybe the kettle for mixing magic mini painting ingredients in while uttering satanic incantations. I can just see it now:

First some magic flow enhancer taken from the heart of a werewolf.
Then the deliciously disgusting slow-dri of death.
And a little red of blood and black of chaos.
Aggabagagagak I summon you lord of darkness. lol

Well we had over 200 kids at our door. So ours had to come back, sort out the candy that they didn\'t like to give to the other kids roaming around.

But once the evening was done and everyone was back inside the next hour was punctuated with cries of \"Hey Mom! Those chips are mine! Dad that was my chocolate bar!\"

If you saw all the parents digging through their kids\' bags for goodies as they\'re going house to house, you\'d be wondering who the holiday was actually for!lol

...And the Butterfingers, Baby Ruths, etc. that we parents might find \"hazardous\" to our children.

\"Sorry son, but if you eat all those you\'ll grow up to look like THIS (pointing to your own belly), now you don\'t want that , do you?\"

\"Good, now hand me that bowl of candy...\"lol
