Seeing as no one else has started one, I thought it'd be a good idea to get one rolling ( although as I write this I realise that most of the States is probably still asleep).
Anyhoo seeing the vast quantity of creative skills the permeate this site there must have been some great pumpkins carved for last night. So I've started this thread so people can show off thier creations. Here's mine....

Pretty cool carvings there, folks.

I didn't get a chance to do any this year; in fact, didn't get anything set up for outside decoration. Maybe next year.

Can't claim a lot of talent put into these. Left one was drawn out by my son and I cut it out, and the one on the right was for my daughter.

@Atacam + Talion. Thems some pretty cool carvings. Are they drawn on and carved freehand or are they taken from templates 'cos they look really neat... in both senses. Also are they cut all the way through the pumpkin or are you just taking away the outer skin?

@Pegazus ... they're both pretty cute although I'm not sure the kitty is quite what halloween is meant to be about, but I bet your daughter loved it.

Thanks.

My one was drawn freehand, then a scalpel was used to cut about 3/4 of the way through, although the nose fell in, so had to go all the way. That is why it looks brighter.

Roger and I did some pumpkins but we're having issue with British camera loading onto and american computer. They seem to fit but there's a problem somewhere in the mix.

One of the dangers of letting children having free will. Wonder if I ever posted that birthday cake pic of Spongebob dressed as Dora The Explorer? Yet another example of regretting letting the choice be theirs.

@atacam -- kudos to the wife for doing that freehand.

@Devoncodain.... thanks for that. I was aiming to make a gruesome one that would hopefully scare some of the trick or treaters away... didn't work.... children are sick these days....they really liked it.?!? LOL
