When I get time (amongst my many many projects!) I intend to make a display stand for this mini. Nothing big, nothing flashy, just a bit of fun. I'm picturing a work bench for him to sit on, like the Jigsaw killers lair / workshop. Perhaps a pinboard behind him with blue prints of the Jigsaw killers traps and various props beside him (tools, photos, TV set/VCR, etc). Probably throw in some elements from the movies such as grimey tiles and rusted wire mesh.
For the record, I'm a reluctant fan of the franchise. I loved the first film and think the underlying story is an interesting concept. Having said that the gore factor crossed the boundaries of taste (goes without saying really...) and I loathed how, with each film, they had to out do the last in terms of depravity. I'm not naiive and do realise how the traps are integral to the plot and to giving you a sense of shock/urgency/meaning. The series would have worked well as a TV show (which would have kept the gore count low too) or maybe as a trilogy, but they whored it out selling shocks for cash and by the finale had completely lost sight of the plot. Following the death of John Kramer it merely became another slasher film...
