hope that you had a good day bloke :)
Bugger me...I\'d forgotten I had even joined there....I suppose they \'feature\' members birthdays:idea:

I didn\'t really see you as the stalking type, it\'s just that I had forgotten myself until the postman came on Saturday morning, bringing me all my birthday card. (that\'s not a spelling mistake btw):D

And thanks, everyone, I did indeed have a good day:flip:

Great to hear finn! Maybe for a REALLY belated birthday present, I\'ll actually finish one of those resin models and send you pics. :D

Did you get anything cool for your b-day besides the card?

The hangover\'s fine, it\'s always best to try and befriend them...

As for goodies, I treated myself to another batch of Hirst moulds, the Egyptian ones this time, a large scale Celt Warrior from Urban Mammoth and some assorted trinkets from Gamer\'s Quest. So I am as \'happy as larry\' at the moment:D

I even expanded my vocabulary..... thanks to Dauber for reminding me of the word \'irascible\'. I will be trying to include it much more in my conversations from now on:flip:

Those\'re nice presents, you are a generous man when giving gifts, finn!

And, again, congrats on the 46! You\'re only 2 1/2 years in front of me! (and over 5000 postings, lol!)

Nice! I always like to get presents for myself too. ^_^ Though I think my last birthday I just got myself a LOT of alcohol.

Just found some pics of the Hirst molds...those are pretty darn cool!

I thought so!

I am not sure I want to build too many pyramids, although one would be fun, but a lot of those moulds will work really well as scenery and basing material for Rackham Dirz figures.

Well, even if you don\'t want to use the whole thing, would be great for ruins in a diorama or something.

Which ones did you get? I like the temple mold...I\'ve always liked columns. :D

Thanks!

That means a lot coming from you Number Two. \'Make it so\'... etc...:flip:

Equus: I bought ten Egyptian moulds to qualify for the discount and free shipping which was basically all of them with the exception of the smooth pyramid and one other, which I forget...

Cool...so now you have a bunch more stuff for your \"strategic planning of miniature painting and display\"? :D

The emphasis being on \'strategic\' of course;)

heh...tell me about it. My mind wandered during my break here at work, and I started thinking about the Yamato model I\'m putting together for a friend. How I wanted to assemble and putty certain parts for the paint job, but there were moving pieces that I had to mask to keep them moveable...etc etc.

I haven\'t touched the model for about two weeks and won\'t be able to until later this week, at the very least. :p

Hell\'s bells!

I am honoured:D

Uncle! No one told me you\'d been let out?

Equus:Unfortunately my strategy would appear to be measured in years/decades rather than weeks. That\'s just a pathetic excuse to say that I am a lazy sod and also have tons of other things \'on the go\'. We will get there eventually however, as long as death doesn\'t intervene....Which it will of course..:bouncy:
