Birthday presents....

Wanted to show you all the pretties I got for my birthday, thanks to RedDawn. She got a bunch of CMONNERS to paint up some DWARVES for me!!!!! :D

And I also got this Margara Firetoungue from Airhead:

Here\'s the next closeup, this is a green that Dawn had Itchy and Provoke-Me (Fish-Dog Workshop) sculpt for me. They used my face for the mini, then squished it to look like a dwarf. I\'ve taken to calling him \"Grumb the dwarven inventor\".

It was VERY cool of her! I\'m nervous about painting it, I\'ve never painted a green before.

It\'s so delicate, I\'m almost afraid to touch it!

@philologus - Thanks, sorry you guys missed it. A good time was had by all, or at least by me! :D

@Supervike - I do have a great wife and I thank my lucky stars every day that she\'s here. I still haven\'t figured out why she puts up with me.... lol

Here is the next installment. These are the minis that I got from Margo and her husband Yuri. They are limited edition dwarves from a Russian mini maker. Margo isn\'t happy with hers so she\'s not going to put it in her gallery. I on the other hand LOVE it, so I wanted you guys to see it. The one that Yuri painted is great as well. They are both talented painters and I feel very lucky to have a mini from each of them!

Actually, what happened was that I sent you a reply via u2u and something crapped out just as I sent it. I wasn\'t sure if you got it or not (& didn\'t want to send another long message if you had gotten it) so sent the note asking if you\'d received the original u2u.

Then left for Memphis and didn\'t get your reply until after Scott had already responded.

Not trying to blow you off - just travelling WAY, WAY too much!!

Can\'t wait to go home Sunday!
