Yep, legos up there with the superstars.
What\'s the most ambitious, or for that matter fun thing you\'ve ever made outta lego?
Anyone remember that lego aircraft carrier from a while back?

Lego rocks... I spent my entire childhood building an ever expanding space lego city across my bedroom until it took up over 60% of the floor space... something I intend to ressurect next year, on a grander scale, when our toy company finally gets it\'s own office :)

I think calling a collection of Lego bricks \'Legos\' is an unofficial Americanism... I believe officially a whole bunch of Lego bricks is still just called \'Lego\', as in \'some Lego, a pile of Lego, a box of Lego\'.

Jeez, spent most of yesterday evening trawling ebay for old space Lego stuff... brought back so many good memories :)

I remember spending some time on the Lego forums a couple of years back.... some of the stuff the \'serious\' lego guys build is just awesome :)

Lego was flipping amazing but I think it\'s loosing its charm. The majority of the kits these days don\'t seem to be anything like as versatile or appealing. There are too many specialist parts in them. These are great for ensuring your toy looks exactly like the Millennium Falcon when you follow the instructions, but it\'s not so good for destroying the thing and rebuilding it into something completely different that doesn\'t follow the instructions. All my best Lego creations came from some basic blocks and the madness that is my brain-box.

The only problem I ever had with legos, legi, whatever, was that they hurt like a bitch when you step on them barefoot in the middle of the night and they seem to arrange themselves in the best possible way TO GET STEPPED ON! They are the best toy in the world other than that!

Love LEGO! But I agree with lono.. too many special parts now a days and the charm is a little lost. But hey.. it\'s a problem easy enough for the company to solve..

You don\'t have to get the specialized sets you can also just get the Brick Buckets or even Bulk Brick Bags as well as picking out specific bricks you want.
