don\'t they...

parade around with lumberjacks and stuff, playing hockey in the street with all the bacon and syrup you can eat?

I\'m not sure either, but I am glad they are our neighbors.;)

It\'s Canada\'s 138th birthday to be specific, and an excuse to not go to work and drink beer instead.

Supervike, I am suprised and disgusted by your stereotypical view of canadians. You forgot beaver trapping in mounty suits, while listening to Rush!:D

Dunno, I got a day in August. Think most days are owned by religious types.

<=hates Rush and Hockey :eek:
(like playing with little toys while saying things like \"i\'ll cast magic missiles at your dragon lord\" wasnt enough to be outcast)lol

How can you hate hockey?! It\'s the coolest sport on Earth!

GO KINGS GO! *prepares to get flamed for liking The Kings*

Yes indeed. We drink beer, play hockey, and roll in the snow.

Actually we watch parades, fireworks and drink beer. All whilst being eaten alive by mosquitoes and black flies.

Happy Canada Day to all my fellow hosers!

Phew...

I just spent 3 hours tooling around town to all the various parties with three kids in tow. The Fireworks were awesome and for those that don\'t know Edmonton (capital of Alberta) we have a man made waterfall that you can drive and walk through that we turn on a couple times a year. Not in December, however, since we have a crazy 4th season here we call winter.... ;-)
Thanks for all the kind wishes and it is important to note that Bob and Doug (as seen in the picture above) were invented and performed here in Edmonton (sniff - so proud). SCTV filmed one of their greatest scenes (\"LaRue! Where did he get that crane!\") right outside my office.
Now to sleep.
Maybe if I can figure out how to do it I will post a pic of the waterfall later...
Any ideas where to post pics so I can link to them?

Happy Canada day to all you Canadians out there.

I actually went to Canada once, to games Day 2004 in Toronto. Very clean city, I thought.
