Happy Daddy\'s Day

Happy Fathers Day to myself and all the other CMoN dads out there. :drunk:

Sadly I\'ll never get breakfast in bed since I am almost always the fist one up in the morning but I\'ve already received a card from my son with 3 coupons attacked... First Coupon is to be exchanged for 60 minutes of a \'work helper\', Second is to be exchanged for a car wash, and the Third is for 60 minutes of quiet time. Not a bad gift at all from a 7 year old, though I\'m a bit reluctant to turn him loose on my new car by himself.

We forgot in my house so i ended up getting up early, making breakfast and making cakes while my wife slept in!

Oh well at least i got a nap that was only disturbed by being french kissed by my dog, Chance, and yes he does kiss better than my first girlfriend, and he has better breath.

I ordered a 25 piece knife set for my dad. Hasn\'t arrived yet, but hopefully next week. :)

Happy Father\'s Day to all of you CMON dads!

My old man is running around after me as I am onto my 6th day with gastroenteritis and as a result I haven\'t eaten for the past 5 days, so I\'m as weak as a kitten...

Happy Fathers Day though!

Did you also include a box of band-aids. Whenever my mom got knives for any reason it always came with a box of band-aids.

It will be a busy day over here. My girls turn one today besides having to go spend fathers day with the in-laws.

wishing Matty\'s tummy settles down soon, that\'s not a lose weight kind of diet I would want, and you know for sure your dad loves you if he\'s willing to clean up after you.

and for us who\'s Fathers have passed to the Summerland, share a fond memory

mine:

having 5 daughters, mom was the giver of female knowledge ...so when the youngest asked “what was an ovary” as a joke mom told her to ask her father. I could hear his answer loud and clear........ What!! it’s like this sweetie ....I DON\'T HAVE ONE, now go tell your mother to knock off the wise a$# jokes.lol

My Dad is out in California from Wisconsin and yesterday was the only day I could see him and his psycho chick wife (not just bitter here. She if legally a psycho chick). I bought them lunch and got a card for my Dad.

Mr C got what he asked for, fruit. Don\'t ask. It\'s best not explained. Alex got him a nice knife.

I\'m trying not to ask but when you say that it isn\'t fair. I know if there was a button that says do not press, I\'d press it. lol

You have a bit of the devil in you, don\'t you Roger? Ok, he got mad at me about the divorce on Saturday because I said it didn\'t want him to come with me to see my Dad. It would have been very uncomfortable. So he said, \"Oh don\'t bother with Father\'s Day this year either then. Just buy me an apple or something!\" So I spent $34.00 at a fruit stand on the way back from seeing Dad. He did ask after all!

I asked for an Apple too, but I didn\'t get one. Of course the apple I wanted cost $2,000 and came with a 24\" screen. :drunk:

I did also end up getting some shorts and t-shirts and a bunch more home-made cards (the best kind from 7 and 5 year olds).

My dad died back in \'01 and my wife\'s dad (well her step-father but he\'s the one that counts) died this year so little outside fathers day activities for me. My dad was quite the prick, making it harder to come up with individual stories to share...

Well my dad was really good at telling stories and they are famed amongst my friends, to this day I get people asking for \'CJ Stories\'. (CJ being my dad of course).

Ooh, I got one... Most people were afraid of my dad, one day a couple of my friends were out of town driving, one of them didn\'t know my dad or his stories and commented \"This CJ is probably a wuss and if I saw him I\'d tell him so.\" which made the others cringe, then one spoke up \"OK, roll down your window and tell him.\" Yes, apparently my dad was passing them at that very moment (which is funnier if you knew how people often jokingly spoke in hushed tones of my dad for fear he had spies/bugs planted).

Seeing as my Dad\'s in his mid 60\'s and I got him a Nintendo DS game for Fathers Day and a Best Buy Gift Certif so he can buy whatever MMO he wants to play next, I can say he\'s still a pretty cool guy. Plus he brought the beer for the bbq yesterday :D

Myself I got season 7 of Red Dwarf, which I plan on starting to watch tonight.
