carnaval was great here in mazatlan...
six days of debauchery on a tropical beach, what\'s not to like...

on saturday we had a firework show that was a battle between maz. and some french ships...
coolest fireworks display i\'ve ever seen...

hope everyone else around the world had a good time...

good thing he cant read do to his inadequately shaped head.

Not only can I read, I know how to spell DUE as well :p

We didn\'t have pancakes in the Un-household. Due to having a 6 year old daughter we had to have pinkakes instead.... filled with chocolate spread :|~

Here in SE Michigan we have a fairly large Polish population (esp. around Hamtramck) so this is the Fat Tuesday fare that we all enjoy.

so, yesterday was ash wednesday...
since i\'m livin\' in a hardcore catholic country, i see the traditions in action...
most of the town was walkin\' around with ash crosses on their foreheads...
bein\' a stoner, i was wonderin\' if it was the mark of some new zombie cult until it hit me that it was just the mark of a religious cult...phew!!!lol

i thought about givin\' up weed for lent, but then i got high and forgot about it:twisted:...

I was in the post office yesterday afternoon and this woman came in behind me..when I looked up at here I noticed she had a black smudge on her forehead.. My first reaction was to say..Umm you have something on your forehead..thinking this woman would be embarrassed to find out shes walking about wish a black smudge on her head.. she looked at me with eyes that could of as well be laser beams and in very curt words said..ITS ASH WEDNESDAY\"

I was saved by the clerk going \"Next\"

I had no clue.. shows how much I pay attention to things..

I made shedloads of pancakes on Tuesday with, wait for it, Nutella sauce (my own thing), honey, syrup, evaporated milk, lemon, and sugar. Oh, it was soooooo good.

Heston, gotta put up the :beer:. Fat Tuesday is over. Got past Ash Wednesday. Now it is Lent - time to give up something from your life until Easter.

(not that I\'m Catholic, but a bit of self sacrifice is not always bad for you. This year it is ice cream...)
