Hey, watching Final Fantasy IIV : Advent Children again for the umpteenth time I realised that it was actually one of the only movies to touch me on an incredible level, I usualy don\'t really feel too emotive watching movies at all!
What Movies really speak to you guys?
Or am I just a freak? :p
( Conceded, I probably am a freak on some level :D )

Finding Neverland (cried and cried and cried...and cried)


lots of movies that I enjoy are for a reason, but, BUT i HATED the Notebook.

stupid movie.

No not a complete freak. I have had plenty of movie touch me. Can\'t think of a great many right at this moment though!

Be warned - watching any of these movies too close together may be hazardous to your health!

i dont tear up when i watch films.i just feel for the person people like boromir and haldir in LOTR when they dieand once upon a time in china where they first experience other people(not chinese) with gun and they all get shot and taken over.

Amazing movie !!! And really touching.

Oh and don\'t tell anyone but I\'m overlly emotive when watching movies. Guess it makes up for the rest of the time :p

If you like anime and can handle emotionally-engaging movies, I strongly suggest \"Grave of the Fireflies\". It\'s very sad, but really amazing and I really liked watching it.

You beat me to it, Allison. :D First time I saw it was on TV in Japan with a couple friends, and... ohhhh, boy. I can\'t even watch the beginning now.

oh, and regarding The Iron Giant... amazing movie, but who names their kid Hogarth?!

The ending of Shawshank Redemption always gets me.

The part in Forrest Gump where Forrest is at Jenny\'s grave telling her all that he has been doing is another one.:(

what about John Q or Patch Adams where he reads the rest of the poem to her

am I the only one who gets teary-eyed after reading a book? the first that springs to mind is \"Flowers for Algernon\"

tony- glad to hear i wasn\'t the only one who cried at Finding neverland...it killed me, you cry, then its ok for like 4 seconds then you cry again...by the end of the movie you\'ve run out of tissues and you still cry even in the last seconds of the film...i was an emotional wreck the rest of the evening.

Can\'t believe I left out Finding Neverland - that one definitely opened the floodgates.

Shawshank and Green Mile are also great - a testament to Stephen King\'s range.

Speaking of animated films, were any of traumatized by the snare scene in Watership Down? I still love that movie.

I was about 8 when watership down came out. My teachers thought a movie about rabbits would be great for a class outing. A lot of 7 and 8 year olds had a VERY bad day at the movies that day! lol
