Yes, Happy Turkey Day! Made the seven hour commute into Texas. Saw a big herd of antelope and a lot of dead rabbits, now flattened and ready for Frisbee fun. Must have been a good summer for them.

I\'ll be enjoying a generous-sized plate piled high with turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes, and a soup bowl filled with gravy to wash it down! No vegetables for me! I\'m trying to lose weight, so I\'ll make sure to have a DIET soda to drink. That will counter-balance my calorie intake for the day, right? :D

Hope you all have an enjoyable holiday with your family and friends. Remember to count your blessings and give thanks for everything we have. :)

Every day on the way to work I drive past a free range ogranic turkey farm. Today there were no turkeys grazing outside. It was kind of sad.

Stuffing and gravy however, will make me forget about that.

Well matt... I don\'t think thanksgiving is the day to be dieting :wow:

Even I, the big loser here, am taking the day off the diet. I get 2-3 \"free days\" a month where I eat whatever my heart fancies. It fancies turkey, stuffing, potatos, gravey, green beans with bacon in them, ambrosia salad, cranberries (either the jelled canned type or my preferrence is for some homemade ones with apricots and brandy in them) and pumpkin pie with cinnamon whip cream. Then I want to go into a turkey coma for a few hours.

Alas, I have to work and my son will be spending his day @ his girlfriends house so I\'m stopping by a resteraunt and getting a big plate of food there to take to work. It\'ll be slow and I can sleep between calls.

Happy Thanksgiving Y\'all!!!

You know Liz you would always post your work number. Hehe.....

But I guess that would just make things a little to interesting, wouldn\'t it?

Again, have a happy day Y\'all! May your turkey be just right, the gravy flow like water, your Family and friends get along, and the Goddess of calories take the day off.:Dlol:bouncy::bouncy:

I figured I would end up cheating tomorrow anyway, so I spent twice as long at the gym this evening. Phew! Feels good though! :D

We Canucks had our Turkey Day last month, I tried arguing with the wife saying we should celebrate US Turkey Day too which she said was find except I\'d have to do all the cooking...

We are having frozen lasagna tonight. :drunk:

Oh well, at least Christmas is coming so there will be more turkey then.

Anyway, happy Turkey Day my Yankee friends.
