Turkey ... bleah ....
Now break out the honey baked spiral sliced ham and we\'ll be talkin\' buisness.
(eyeballing the ham in the kitchen and wondering if I can make it through the guantlet of pain my wife will inflict on me while trying to get a tender morsel)

Careful or you be Frustrated Father again.
Let us celibrate the fact that a boat-load of people that were too up-tight to stay in Britan managed to survive a winter due to the good graces of some poor natives that took pity on them.
but the turkey is done and the stuffing is in the oven. Pecan pies are made. Pumpkin pie is almost done too.
Football will be on TV all afternoon and evening.
What a wonderful day. I am so glad that the PC people have not managed to move it to Friday.

Happy thanksgiving, all you Americans! I snuck out of work early to celebrate with you. Alas I don\'t have any turkey...

Grrr ...
So far the wife, having done everything from \'scratch\' is still in the kitchen though I\'m told \'soon\' the feast will be on.
I skipped breakfast in anticipation of the fattening. I\'ve got my knuckles rapped twice for trying to sneak. Now I\'m just filling up on whiskey and I\'m about to rush the kitchen for some ham.
Wish me luck, and if I don\'t post any longer, my wife probably stuck me with the carving knife.

Too bad I missed this thread (and my mom\'s turkey gravy) as we travelled to my In-Laws for thanksgiving....
I have a lot to be thankful for, and I\'ll try and remind myself of that fact when I am in a bad mood!
