Hi

I received issue #6 recently, but no new Harbinger mini.

Anyone else get the mini with their subscription copy?

I\'m surprised a new issue hasn\'t sparked some discussion here. Has the novelty of a new miniatures magazine worn off already?

There isn\'t going to be a mini with each issue.

I didn\'t think the last issue was as good as the others though. Maybe the games weren\'t that interesting for me.....

I realise we don\'t get a mini every issue, but there is a voucher in the magazine for new mini. I think it was called Harbinger of Fury or something. It was a woman with shocking pink hair as I recall.

I think there was something in the previous issue about the schedule of minis - I\'ll check when I get home - I assumed the mini would be in next month.

I think this issue was a mixed bag - I found the game with the cards and models very confusing and looked the associated models up on their web page - very poor!

The confrontation stuff was interesting.

I see they still have adds for Ikore!

Hey, don\'t give up on Harbinger now, i\'ve just started writing articles for them! I didn\'t get my fig either, i think it\'ll be in next month\'s ish.

I am not giving up on it - far from it - this mag has replaced White Dwarf as the thing I look forward to each month (I have just realised how sad that sounds) -trouble is i don\'t know when to expect it\'s arrival.

If anything your joining the team will make it more eagerly awaited.

As Finn says lets hope their advertising is all paid up otherwise you might not get paid

Harbinger issue 5 page 9, and I quote:

\"The Harbinger of Fury will be the first release in this new schedule, and will be available with issue 7 of your favourite miniatures magazine (subscribers will, as always, receive their harbingers automatically withtheir shipment of issue 7\"

Words to that effect are also on the ad in issue 6.

I just realized that I still need to paint the first Harbinger, so I can wait another month... and i\'ll probably not get a chance anyways, need to write two more articles for them pronto!

Well I don\'t even get them but I have figures in this one as well as an older one, so they can\'t be all bad!

Thanks Sturmhalo I must have missed or forgotten that bit from issue 5.

Harbinger has so far kept me in formed about products I wouldn\'t have known about before.

I recently bought Rackhams Hybrid board game on the strength of coverage in Harbinger. I would not have considered it without Harbinger.

I had a fun Saturday afternoon recently trying to get the Aberration to fit together properly, and I\'m still not happy with the position of his left arm.

Yeah, actually I still haven\'t finished reading issue 5 yet! Issue 6 doesn\'t seem to have as much interesting stuff in it to be honest. Nothing that screams out \"read me now\". However, I got a picture of my wolfen diroama in issue 5 so I\'m happy!

I haven\'t painted any of the harbinger figures yet so can wait another month for the next one too.

I got my copy of issue 6 today.

Don\'t feel bad. It has replaced White Dwarf for me too. If White Dwarf gave away free minis they would atleast be back at number three.
Hmmmm. GW gives away free minis every three or four months. Next in the news is weather. Seems there are below 0 degree weather in hell.lol

Funny, since with economies of scale it would cost GW very little to occasionally include a mini with WD...

Seriously, I don\'t know if it is the paper, the ink, or what, but it just smells like good information....

I have noticed that there is two types of subscription. One get the normal minis the other get the limited minis as well. What are the limited minis? Also when I got my subscription there was onlt one type so do I get the limited ones?

I will email them and let you guys know.

Errr..... thinks that wrong end of stick has been picked up here. All the mini\'s are the same (and limited editions).
