HARBINGER ISSUE 11 HAS SHIPPED!

Guys,

With only one issue left until our first birthday things are heating up here at Harbinger HQ. Issue 11 has just arrived here and been shipped out to subscriber and distributors. Highlights include:

VACILLUS, VASA BEHIND THE MASK - This month Phil \'Warlord\' Walling lays down the real deal on Void 1.1\'s galactic police force and just how to play \'em to best effect.

ORIGINS 2004 REPORT - While you\'re waiting for our Gencon report why not take a look at Origins and some of the first class minis from the painting tournament there?

CITY OF CONFRONTATION PART III - Graham Clarke continues his Confrontation summer campaign with a host of new scenarios and, this month, your forces begin to uncover strange artefacts and treasure that will have a bearing on the campaign as a whole.

CELTOS, CONTINUATION OF THE SPECIES - \'Fianna\' Phil Walling lays out a first class Celtos scenario in which the Sidhe launch a raid on a Gael settlement intent on capturing new breeding stock!

WARLORD - Robert J. Hahn gives us the Battle of Elbarth Hill, take control of either the Necropolis or the Templars and take your first steps into the world of Reaper\'s Warlord.

MASTERCLASS TERRAIN, BARBARIAN VILLAGE - Chris \'Two-Part Epoxy\' Abbey undertakes to build the perfect Barbarian village. See what YOU could build with cereal packets and felt!

NETHERHELLS PART III - Andy Foster of Heresy Miniatures completes his journey through the Below Places and brings you the final instalment of this excellent rules system.

31 YEARS OF TOM MEIER - While SOME people have been celebrating their 30-year anniversary (no names) we miniatures enthusiasts have a slightly longer pedigree (!). We tracked down Tom Meier, the longest serving sculptor in our industry and the man who discovered \'Green-Stuff\' and asked him a few questions.

STEP BY STEP - Andrew Wedmore takes us through the stages of his awesome Fomorian Hero from Urban Mammoth.

TOOLS OF THE TRADE - Simon Bradley tells us just why HE loves Coat d\'arms paints and why, if you aren\'t already, you should be using them.

ART OF WAR, 500 POINTS FOR HALEY. NOT JUST TEMPORAL BARRIER - Moray Grant continues his analysis of Warmachine\'s Warcasters, this month it\'s Captain Victoria Haley under the microscope.

Plus the usual news, reviews, previews and goodies!!!

Take care, paint well, play hard.

I\'m sure this got asked somewhere.....

...if it\'s coming up on Harbingers 1st birthday, does that mean my subscription is about to run out??? Or will you guys be sending out reminders to renew - I really don\'t want to miss any issues :D

Issue 11 is great, my only gripe would be that some of the pics from the painting show were a little dark, so it\'s difficult to see the figures.

Got my first two issues today (ish 1 and 11). Harbinger of the East mini is poo. Others are great. Mag is very interesting, kind of like White Dwarf 20 years ago....

I did only say it was \'crisp\'....

You are right though. I do prefer the earlier ones.....

Don\'t rock the boat too hard though....any competition to WD has got to be good...for everyone...even *them*;)

Indeed. \'They\' certainly seem to be getting a fair amount of competition. Doubt it\'ll encourage them to drop their prices though............ Just their production values.....:)

I only got back into painting again about 18 months ago after a lay off for about 7 years, and it\'s amazing to see so many companies doing so well. There are one or two that look to be shaping up to dish some punishment out to GW over the coming years...........

Well, if you haven\'t already....

Check out the Rackham store.....get your hands on a catalogue...they are works of art and destined to become collectors items...Cry Havoc is also very good...

Urban Mammoth are one of my favs, although I still keep thinking of them as i-kore. Check their ezine for free. It\'s called Battles With Miniatures (BWM).

WarMachine and Dark Ages are also in good positions...

I am not a \'hater\', but I would like, no love, to see them pulled down a peg or two...:D

Already a Rackham addict. They produce the best looking minis ever IMO, although the standard these days is very high.
I just couldn\'t resist these fellas from Dark Sword

How cool? Cost more to ship than to buy mind........
