Harbinger Issue 12 has shipped - at last!

I saw that mini at Gencon Indy. The photo does not do it justice.
Spectacular!! Really very, very unique.
Seeing that and the other Griffin and Harbinger figures painted by Sturmhalo was one of the best parts of my trip. Also meeting the hideously overworked, but really sweet guy Jamie was a highlight too. (trying to get you a pay raise there man. ;))

Now If I\'m not mistaken, Jamie was at Gamesday yesterday.
Margo hadn\'t seen this erstwhile publication before! All I can say is \"Eyes like Saucers!\"
:D

Now I got the Mag on Saturday and due to my painting like a loony I\'ve forgotten about it. Ah well something nice to read tonight.

All I can say is:- Thanks for the first 12 issues and I\'m looking forward to seeing issue 120 and then even more. :D

Ooooh... SO close! Maybe next century ;)

Many thanks for the thought though!

Sadly not, I had my friend\'s stag-night to attend and I\'ll miss UK Gencon due to the wedding.

Do these non-mini fans not know how to schedule properly?

Sheesh!

lol

You think we old guys will still be around then? :D

That miniature looks even better in that pic - thanks Jamie! Even better to hear it will be for sale retail - that way I can get one to do as is, and one to use for a conversion!

Primeval: 120 issues is only 10 years, in which case I intend to be pushing 60 and not pushing up daisies! lol

HI folks,

Frenchkid\'s right. The Harbinger of the Hunt is the first of a new series of special minis that we\'ll be selling via retail and off the website.

We received the moulds back as we were putting together issue 12 and we thought it\'d be a nice gesture to send them out as a thanks to the first 10 people who came on board with us and subscribed!

Here\'s a better quality pic for the curious.

All the best

Jamie

Are you still going to put a mini with the mag?
Or are we gonna have to buy the Harbingers from now on?

LOL - well I should know better, my star personal training client (and stepfather :)) is 63 and is a national champion powerlifter, shooting for a world record (for his class, 198 pounds) bench press and has already done 402.5 pounds in a meet.

As for Harbinger, picked up a few back issues at Gencon that I missed before subscribing, and really enjoy it. I also hope it lasts to and beyond 120 issues!

Just got the new issue, looks great, and I got a mini in the showcase :D

Unfortunately the name is wrong, it should be Matt Hooton not Graham Hooton, I imagine it would be because I sent the pic from my father\'s email account, so the \'From\' field showed the wrong name. Ah well, can\'t be helped, but do you reckon the name could be changed on the website vote? Cheers ;)

Here\'s to many more issues of harbinger

Good news - just got mine as well!

Bad news - now I am reading about miniatures instead of painting them!

Your not just \'reading\' about them, you are doing intensive and exhausting \'research\' concerning the application of waterbased pigments onto a pewter alloy with the fur of some small animal.

yay...

I got my issue 12 last night, and ripped it open to read at the dinner table (where is Miss Manners when you need her)...

I almost did a spit take though, when I noticed they had quoted me from the forums....Whoo hoo my name is in print...Well \"Supervike\" is in print...It is not much, but it made my day (i take any victories I can get).....

Also regarding the \"14 issues\" that was promised to subscribers who preordered, I did notice on the mailing card that my subscription expires with issue 14, so that is definately a good thing.

Great mag!!
