Harbinger is still kicking around, albiet as a free download.

http://www.harbingermagazine.com/harbinger/harbinger_38.pdf

Pretty good stuff for some of the smaller mini companies, but the reason I mention it is their is a really interesting article about why Windsor & Newton #7 (everyones favorite brush) are the way they are.

Good read. Check it out!

Dont expect much sympathy on here mate, you will get told to deal with it and move on, but keep trying. There is a phone number at the bottom of the pdf, give it a ring.
Failing that write an official letter of your intentions of getting the cash back.

Care to elaborate?

Same as Fal Carrion.

A couple months before they went under they were at Gen Con in Indy Selling subscriptions. I took out a year with the bonus extra monthly LE figures that they were offering. I never received a single issue and they went out of business. I have made many attempts to contact who ever is in charge, even answer after they said they would make attempt to give some forum of compensation that they posted on several forums..I have never received nothing.. No ones ever written back even to say hay..were sorry.

Piss pore business practice if you ask me..

Well, I would tend to agree.

Sorry to flare up old wounds then.

I suppose the freeness of the download doesn\'t quite make amends then....

No especially as who ever is behind it is receiving revenue from those who are advertising..

Like a number of people I\'ve lost interest in Harbinger.
Mostly because of the inordinate amount of Flash embedded in it as well as what I regard as a Double Standard, regularly touting themselves as GW \"Free\", when one of the deputy editors was and is a GW store manager.

Well I\'ve gone through quite few of the PDF files and can no longer find any references for editors.
Mark Lantham(?) used to be the Owner and Editor, but I\'m no longer sure about there being any associate/deputy editors.

I\'m not sure if opening old wounds about Harbinger is achieving anything and I apologise to the forum in general if I have touched on anyone\'s sore point.

Yeah. They burned me too. I ordered a lot of back issues and the limited edition models. I don¡¯t know who packed my order, but they were shipped in the same plastic cover as the magazine. How hard is it to put them in a special padded envelope?
I gave up on getting them or my money back after over 80 e-mails. This is not an exaggeration.
I did luck out and get them from Magnificent Egos though.

Curious stuff! There was a Mark I was working for, but whether that\'s the same feller I know not. Jamie was his wing deputy I suppose (and his wife was equal partner).
