a little project iv been working on with the GW vouchers it got for crimbo.
concept is that the wraith has leaped down from a buildin so he can plunge his sword through who ever is down their (slannesh greater daemon maybe?) struglin with how to mount on a base, was thinking about gettin some cities of death peices, cut a window in half and pin the loincloth to the central coloumn, so any ideas or opinions on that would be great.

why not have his foot brushing the daemon or a building so you can pin that, as the loincloth will be quite fragile. hope that helps:D

Whoa that rocks. Very Saitou, very Gattotsu from Rourouni Kenshin:

How did you make the ribbon? I love it...

Fantastic stuff!!! Love the pose! Just a thought but wouldnt the gun on the sword arm shoulder be pointing in the direction of the other gun and head too? as if both weapons were firing ad whatever the Wraithlord was about to attack.

WOW! :wow: this is marvelous, great pose! how long did it take to assamble it? I really hope that you will make an as fantstic base as the model itself :D keep it up, looking forward for progress :)

Wonderful! The only thing I would suggest is some change in the open hand. Used as is, it just looks like the stock open hand from the sprue. A slight modification, like a couple bent fingers, a change in thumb position or more splayed fingers would make that hand match how cool the rest of the model is.

thanks for the feedback guys

i havnt made a specific effort (apart from the pose) to make the lord look harlequin espue because with all the smooth large surfaces available am goin to do alot of freehand on it, as for the pose iv watched alot of anime martial arts over the years so it didnt take long to make the pose, (Arma the scene the still from is a very cool, and saitou did pop into my head, although i was originaly goin to do his zero from)

the lord isnt highly converted as am using it as a test peice for NMM, hence the lack of bent fingers and a realistic sword arm position.

The peice itself is quite light and i think the loincloth would take it (so long as i pinned it correctly) the soles of the feet actually have a sculpted harlequin symbol on them with plasticard tread so i want to avoid using his feet to pin him.

the ribbon is 1mm plasticard, cut at angle, then curved, then dabbed with superglue so it would keep its form, and if i didnt have to wait 3-5hrs for the putty to cure it prob would have took me 7hrs

I think this is a good scheme for that wraithlord. not an exact copy of coarse... just someting like it. it\'s a nice effect with the stars on the robe :) anyway, I don\'t know if you thoght of it before, but I think it would look awsome :D
anyway... keep up the good work :)
