I painted this one to try and work on getting better highlights, shading and work on producing smoother transitions between the two.

I\'ll probably also be looking around to find a better lighting rig or something (all I\'m using right now is a small desk lamp with a 100W bulb), since the highlights don\'t seem to be quite as bright as they are IRL.

I\'d really appreciate any feedback you all could give me on this, especially in regards to the highlights, etc.

And, of course, you can vote if you like here: Harrier

First thing that caught my attention right away was the face. Unfortunately the face looks quite flat in the picture. The lips also seem to be the same colour as the rest of the skin, they could use some pinking.

I\'m still amazed at the improvement shown in your gallery, you\'ve done more in a short time then I have done in 20 years of on and off painting.

The eyes look great. I like the gray of the suit. The yellow ribbons could use more contrast in the highlighting and shading. It\'s a cool, graceful sculpt. Who\'s the manufacturer?
