When I first met my girlfriend she made a serious effort to involve herself in my hobbies. I love her for that, even if I wish she painted more, and was more willing to play.
Part of the problem is that she isn\'t as excited about the games I play as I am. I get really excited about miniatures and wargaming in general.
I noticed last night, when my girlfriend admitting to watching her Harry Potter DVD for the 3rd time this week, and that she had almost finished the entire series again, even though she is not normally an avid reader, that she was really interested in Harry Potter.
So, what could I do to foster this interest, contribute to it in the form of birthday and christmass presents, and involve myself in it in some way, to repay as much as possible the happiness I felt when she started painting miniatures.
At first, I thought I could find her a miniature to paint, perhaps a bust of Harry Potter, or a 54mm figure.
Then I thought: Well, what about a wargame. Well, Harry Potter\'s world isn\'t really about war, but thinking about it now, I guess a skirmish game of wizards battles would be interesting. Instead, my thoughts turned to Quiddich.
GW made Blood-bowl. Surely I can make a simple game for quiddich, using scatter dice to move the blodgers, etc, etc. I\'m sure she\'d get a blast out of playing it, and if she got bored with it, and I did a good enough job, then I\'m sure it would sell on E-bay with little problem.

So, the question is: Is there anywhere that has, or is planning on making Harry Potter miniatures, or can anyone think of a line of miniatures that could be converted.
Also, if someone does know of a place for busts and 54mm+ Harry Potter miniatures, I\'d love that info to.
We have a diverse group here, and I\'m hoping you can help me out.
