Just noticed that they put up the Eavy Metal compo on GW\'s hompage with large and sharp pictures as well.

Here you go

Some amazing painting! I am very impressed! Well done Guys and Gals!

:eek::eek: the brush control is amazing .......makes me feel like I’ve been painting using my dog’s tail.

Just make sure you\'ve got your glasses on, Donna. You might be using the dog. I know I\'m almost blind as a bat without my glasses.

saw these in WD and the pics are better online cheers Sven.. Gotta be said they\'ve done a great job.. I\'m torn on my favourite Daz\'s is good but I like the heavy battle weary feel of joe\'s then theirs keith robertsons colours.....hmm decisions decisions.... just managed to get my bugger assembled after wading through a ton of mould lines excess flash and a base that I may have well scratchbuilt for all the filling that was needed....t\'was slightly miscast.. bloody big hunk of metal though....

you think this model was just made to showcase the \'eavy metal team\'s ability? XD They did amazing jobs on him! really makes me want to practice more to get better

WOW, definitely a sweet bunch of painted mini\'s. it\'s good that the \'eavy metal team get a chance to real show their skills. All of them are good for numerous reasons.

Cant wait for mine to arrive

these great pics and descriptions were in the last white dwarf...very nice stuff...

it almost had me thinkin\' that harry was gonna be a killer mini...i was wrong...
i got 2 on friday, and was very dissapointed when i got home and opened him...luckily, i got a nice discount...

the base is an absuloute nightmare...goes together horribly, and is a terrible cast...too much molded together detail, and wonky spears...

harry himself looks a bit flat, but will be fun to try and bring to life as well as neil, daz, and keith did...

all in all, not worth the money if ya bought a single one off mail order, and had to pay shippin\'...a $35 total...ouch...
i expected a better job for a 25th anniversary mini...

that said, they got my money, so i guess the joke is on melol...

cheers

I find that most of their \"Special\" stuff is pretty crappy tbh. It\'s been a while since I bought any.

Of those examples shown, I think Daz was a deserving winner. In fact they\'re all awesome, though Broken Blade\'s wasn\'t really up to his usual high standard imo.

I have to agree I think Joes was utterly amazing. Neil as a second and daz as a third. Very close though as I like them all very much, no kidding. They all have qualities that make them interesting.

Hope I get to see them in hand sometime.

I just got mine today, I hope I can do it justice.

I didn\'t think I\'d get one, because when I ordered it, the counter was at -4! lol

anyway, It\'s a really cool model in my opinion, and my favorite is Fil Dunn\'s, but I also quite like the brains/intestines freehanded onto Darren\'s.

And for some reason, they shipped me an extra leg.

Perhaps that\'ll go nicely on some knights in the future?

Got one too. I actually like it, but the base does look a pain.
Hope I too can do it a little justice.

Darren Lathem\'s piece is very striking to say the least. Some lovely work all across the board, and I only hope they were all completely self-made, those schemes. Cracking stuff!
