a huge amount of greek art portrays nudity - that taboo didnt exist in their culture, in fact, id go so far as to say that its MORE realistic to portray her nude. a lot of modern depictions of greeks clothed are censored representations. as i understand it most women walked around topless (or wearing clothes that revealed the bosom, yay patriarical society!).

Yeah but look at classical Greek female sculptures - they did not look like this. I don\'t mind her being NUDE, or having big boobs, it just looks odd, given the Greek theme of the mini.

Also nude, but unmistakeably the style of antiquity. Both of these portray Aphrodite, the goddess of love and sexuality, so they would be considered \"very beautiful\" by contemporaries.

I\'d use it as a statue for a terrain piece. I like that it\'s 40mm scale because I like using minis that are a different scale for statuary. Her proportions are kind of like Praxitles filtered through Boris Vallejo.

I like the quote in the FOD thread about her being naked, \"She\'s not naked, she\'s wearing boots and a helmet.\" Sounds like all you need for a big Saturday night!
