I was trying to order an Army Transport Battalion case and I this as a reply.
We CANNOT fulfill your order as requested, however... You had placed your order through our domestic page and need to understand that your countries customs department does not accept packages as big as the one required to ship out these items. We apologize for the inconveniences. A refund is on it\'s way now.
Have any of you ever heard of this?
I am looking at my three battalion cases I ordered earlier. I am also thinking of the big box my mother sent my wife¡¯s Christmas gifts in a few weeks ago. Then I remembered an even bigger box that a friend of ours received from home. Did I miss something? It¡¯s not like I am getting them to ship me a car. Geez.

Are you running out of space in Korea? Maybe if you send a similar sized one out of the country it will balance things out lol

Insanity has been the norm in America for the last few centuries, but this has nothing to do with shipping packages only.

It is Christmas season also, as well all the recent acts of violence around the world, and general economic distress.

Maybe they just want more money from you?

Seriousloy, I got this as a reply to my asking them where did they get their information.

Ok we will try to ship it. The Australian and New Zealand Postal departments, will not accept large boxes. We have had the same issues with other Asian countries. Go ahead and place the order and we will keep our fingers crossed.

Looks like Austrailia and New Zealand are the people who ran out of space. lol

You\'d think that Australia at least wold be able to find a spare corner or two! lol

I did actually see something about Aus and NZ\'s package restrictions when browsing a sword-makers\'s website. They have a limit on how long packages can be.

In Canada our packages are as LONG as we want..... you\'re welcome ladies!

It\'s kinda funny. I\'m pretty sure if you wanted to actually order a CAR and import it into Korea, NZ, Oz, or anywhere they kind of make it happen.

I love it when you get told policy is policy. Here at the meat shop we were told we couldn\'t get Chicken delivered fresh to our store anymore, because the alley behind the store was too narrow for their new trucks. Fair enough, except I asked if it\'d be okay if the driver could stop and give us our delivery as he drives PAST our store every day down the alley into the recieving dock of the major chain grocery store a couple dozen yards way. I was told, in no uncertain terms that the truck was unable to make it down the narrow alleys, and that I was mistaken. I followed up by talking to the store manager of the grocery store and asking if he\'d been advised of the delivery change, and he had been told that the alley was too narrow and the trucks would be unable to deliver the Chicken from now on, but he reminded them that he purchases a couple hundred thousand dollars every year from them, and the truck\'s have all magically shrunk now.

I however, at only 75,000$ in annual Chicken purchases from this company can not apparently get the truck to stop. Every day that truck drives past me.

The company posted another annual loss this year and needs to cut more jobs and possibly close it\'s Saskatchewan operation. The reason.... \"Sales are down\".

I love policy.

The length of the greatest linear dimension of a parcel must not exceed 105 cm.
The girth of a parcel must not exceed 140 cm.
Some examples of how to measure the length and girth follow.

Cylinders
If the parcel is a long cylinder, its axis (length)
must not exceed 105 cm and its circumference
(girth) must not exceed 140 cm.

Boxes
If the parcel is box-shaped, then its length (its
longest dimension) must not exceed 105 cm. The
girth is achieved by measuring around all the other
dimensions and must not exceed 140 cm.
Eg. a parcel measuring –
50cm long, 30cm high & 40cm wide
(0.3m) + (0.3m) + (0.4m) + (0.4m) =
Girth 140cm (1.4m)

Irregular shapes
If the parcel is irregular in shape, its length is the
distance between the two furthest-apart points on
the surface of the article and must not exceed 105
cm. The girth, measured around the \'fattest\' part
of the article at right angles to its length, must not
exceed 140 cm.

So, now that I have checked, Asia is ok for big packages. Australia and New Zealand aren¡¯t. Is it because they feel inadequate?

You have to remember that Australia was originally populated by criminals. It\'s in their genes! If a big package goes by on that conveyor belt, the temptation is that much greater for them to steal it.

Bigger is better. They say so in lots and lots of commercials.

I think you\'re being terribly inconsiderate of the Australian concerns, here.

Hehehehe..Sorry to the Aussies here.

I read an article years ago that said the States were the original prison colony for England. Then it changed over to Austrailia later.

Maybe they thing Americans are sending big files inside cakes so they can escape. lol
