Each piece individually looks nice, but all lined up together like this they look even more impressive, Mark. Really nice work!!!
I agree with Zora, too. That\'s some of the best \"nubian\" skin I\'ve seen. So often teh darker skintones end up looking like the mini was dipped in chocolate or something. These have great tonal variations. Again, really nice work. :cool:

nice stuff there Mark! can\'t wait until i start getting my hands on kev\'s stuff.

Hint: i\'m joining the family of painters soon

your style fits the sculpts and is good to see a georgie on top of his game ( unlike the toon i realise :()

hats off to you Mark

Brilliant painting!

Hi Klute.

Wow!! I had no idea you were such a great painter. I\'d be really proud if I could display such a fine selection of painted miniatures. Also, your base work is really creative and cool. I could go on and on about how cool your mini painting skills are but...

Okay, enough praise.

Ive got to say that I\'m a huge fan of the Hasslefree miniature range. Great!!

Thanks d00d.

Hi Stuart
;)

I hope you mean Geordie. And for the record the team is having a decent run at the moment.....though knowing Newcastle that won\'t last long.

@Death Angel
They are all available apart from Miranda and Beach Babe. They will be out soon though via Frothers. I know the moulder has had the greens and sent them back to the sculptors so the castings shouldn\'t be far away.

Nubian skin.
Yeah I wanted a really dark tone to it and its very hard to photograph nicely. Even adjusting the levels digitally doesn\'t seem to work. I did manage it in the end though.
There is a tutorial that I did for Sally up at the Hasslefree site.
Painting Nubian Skin

@Laurence
Why thank you.
I in no way see myself as a great painter. I do think I\'m good but far to modest for a title of greatness.:D
The bases are probably the sculptor in me emerging as I find myself doing more elaborate things the more I paint. I do try to keep it down a bit becuase most of these are commissions for Sally and Kev at Hasslefree and destined for the display cabinets for their shows. I think it is important for these to make sure the mini is the main focus. It is also another reason why I don\'t do much NMM on these as I think real metals look better in the cabinets.
I have done a few NMM though. Stahler was cool and Wolf got some SENMM on his sword. Im on with a Tiriel at the moment using NMM and it is in my opinion the best NMM I have done yet by far.
