HE Army, first unit

Hi everyone!
Here\'s the first unit of my first commission job ever. It\'s a full 2000+ HE army, and this spearmen unit is, like I said, the first completed unit. They were painted in September, and I feel I have developed since then so I could do better today, but they\'re still quite nice. And my customer liked them, so that\'s good.

Unfortuntaley they\'re missing thire shields in the photo, cause I packed them separately and forgot to take a picture *blush*. The citadel theme of the unit is inspired by Rob Lane\'s (I think) high elfs, which was a request from the customer.

Hope you\'ll like them

love that banner, that\'s going to be one lucky customer. I almost feel sad that they\'re going to be used to play.

They look great, especially the banner! I agree with Tidoco; you\'d better be paid really well. I would loathe the elves after having painted just 5 or 6 of them! I admire your patience with them.

Thanks guys! I have to say I\'m pretty fed up with High Elves already, but I see it as a challenge. Plus, there\'s a reward, there\'s going to be a dragon in the army! Yay! :flip::D

Anyway, thanks again for your comments, I really appreciate it.

you are mad. see i think thats my main problem - i have no patience. my old high elves used to annoy me and i only drybrushed the armour. i hate to think how long it took you to paint them. i really hope you got paid well

that level of quality for an entire army, let alone the 1 unit you posted is amazing. This is when the mental dicipline to achieve these results is as impressive as the skill involved. Great job, I\'d love to see this army on the table all done to get the full effect of your efforts.

Can\'t wait to see your dragon!

Yeah, which is why I have a bazillion half started armies and units and the reason I\'m now doing 40K inquisitors, lots of variety!
