My work just opened up the filter to allow me to see my favorite website again! yeah me!!

I see the Freak club has grown exponentially since I was last here.
BTW Supervike.... over 9,700 posts?? Good lord my man.. how DO you find time to pick up a paintbrush? ;)

I apologize I havent been around in awhile, but life threw me some curves that pulled me out of painting for awhile;

*Wife just packed up and left me with the three kids and moved in with another guy
*Work\'s internet filter blocked the website.

You all know how it is...
Anyway.... To those I dont know.. Hello and sorry for boring you with this post. To those that may have missed me, thanks for remembering. Ill be checking in more often and I will be picking up the paintbrush as well....
I promise Ill be in the club sooner rather than later

It has been an awfully long time!

Really glad to see you back....sounds like you\'ve have a very tough rough patch...I hope things are looking up.

Well, I guess I\'m one of those that you don\'t know, so hi there and welcome back.

Sorry to hear about all of the problems; I can kind of relate to the wife thing. Hopefully things just get better for you.

Thank you all for the kind words of support. Kinda makes me wonder why I didnt just pop in here anyway when everything was going on. Woulda been nice to have a few friends to talk to. AND a few NEW friends which it looks like is well into being here at my former and now present home away from home.

As far as my life is concerned though, those are mostly excuses. Im actually quite happy with my life right now despite the challenges of the past few months.

The wife took nothing from the house. In fact I still have most of her clothes, all her families heirlooms (which I have no clue what to do with) and most importantly, my kids for which there is no greater treasure in the world. And if she felt she had to leave under such circumstances.. well.. that\'s HER loss.

Feel no sympathy for me because I am doing quite well now. Even had a promotion at work!

Heck, I\'ve even started dating again... sort of. (She lives in Canada and I live in Kansas.. makes for a tough night on the town..ha ha)

Im looking forward to continuing my quest for that coveted \"9\" that seems to elude me, but I fear my first few minis getting back into it arn\'t quite going to be up to par.
For those of you who have taken a sabatical from painting, I\'d be interested to know who long you stopped and how fast you picked up where you left off. :)

Getting to stay with the kids would make lots of things much better!

And, as far as aiming for that elusive 9...great goal...but one thing you might want to know about CMoN is the scoring has gotten much harsher....In fact I think \'8\" is the new \'9\'....

sorry to hear about the missus - at least she hasn\'t nicked the kids (it\'s hard work this way but atleast you get to see them)

don\'t use a collapsed lung as a reason not to go on the site - i\'ve had a few and spent more time on here than ever!! lol
