Head band magnifiers for modelling?

I now use a headband magnifier all the time,(when painting) age has a terrible effect on sight! I don't have any problems using it, other than flipping it up and forgetting that its there!

I use a cheap one with 1 1/2 power, just enough magnification without the depth perception problem.

You could alwyas go for a "helping hand".

Thats the stand, that has crocodile clips on arms to hold the mini steady and give you a free hand, and then it also has a magnifying glass built in to help with detail work.

Not exactly what ur asking for, but can work pretty well.

I use an optivisor painting and couldn't go back now.
My eyesight has got worse and worse over the years.
I am, however, rather getting on.
