I wonder what this is going to mean for the new Batman film. Obviously they\'ve finished making it but will his death have an effect on the release date?

Dumb fuck.. guy had it all.. Great actor, amazing carrier..Hot wife and child and he threw it all away including his life for drugs..

I am sorry that he died because his passing will effect other people, but he wasted such a great chance..

I\'m actually shocked and sad. Someone\'s probably going to say \"big deal\" but I have to say that for me it is. It\'s just such a waste... I was looking forward to following his carrier.

It\'s a real shocker and a real shame..So weird I lent my Dad Knights Tale and Brothers Grimm on Saturday as I was trying to explain to him how he will be great as the joker......damn..
The MSN page says \"WAS due to star in the new Batman Film?????? \" Is there some post production filming still being done...and it will be a blow to a few other projects he was due on as mentioned earlier after a long time in the shadow he was hitting a peak.....shit man...

Sad - he was a good actor, and has a young kid. We should wait for the confirmation that it was an OD before drawing conclusions- it may have been due to natural causes. Either way, sad.

Supposedly all filming on Dark Knight is done and it\'s post production. I suspect if they need re-record the audio for anything, they\'ll get someone to imitate him.

On one hand, I\'m surprised and saddened to hear about his death... but on the other hand, I don\'t have much sympathy for people who do themselves in with drugs regardless who they are. Hopefully they\'ll find it was something less ignoble.

Probably will not affect it..although I guess he won\'t be doing a sequel.
