Our local rock festival inspired me to upgrade my £75 practise amp to this beast. I could not be happier :D :metal:

I also managed to create a one man mosh pit by headbanging like nutcase in front of a heavy metal band to the entertainment of the crowd!

Never caught the name of the band I was moshing to. The song was about a graveyard.

The festival is called Cock Rock, since it is held in Cockermouth

I hear the music industry is becoming very festival orientated here in the UK, since people aren't buying so many singles these days. There are some 700 festivals in the UK alone!
We had 150 bands at ours alone, although I'm starting to suspect that the old adage about there being heaps of talent out there might only be a half truth. Half the bands at our festival came from all over the UK and I didn't really rate them for song writing talent. Often it seemed there would be one really good musician in each band, with the rest being 'pretty good compared the average' but not blinding. They need to network more and make ultra bands

Edit: how could I forget their female singer was gorgeous in black and dark purple dress with corset, blonde with goth makeup. And could sing. Sweet.

@ Genrulpoleaxe thanks man, do you mean mixing and FX or music theory?

While in the store I am a very regular customer so they offered me £140 yes ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY quid off an Ibanez I was playing.

It is still just out of my price range. I'll have to ask the devil for a second mortgage on my soul...

Unless you're a relative or something it probably just means that it was £140 overpriced to begin with. Just look around, eBay and your local paper etc. I bought this Ibanez EDB-605 for £100 last week from an advert in my local paper:

Looks cool Finn, I know nothing about guitars or instruments - but it looks cool. A former Cradle of Filth guitarist Stuart Anstis has a guitar shop in Bude, bit of a trek for you, but if you are a metal fan it might be worth a look.

Maybe you could join these fellows..................

I havent been to Bude since I was kid lol, but my Cornish "Cradle of Filth Award" would go to Redruth lol.

Stuart Anstis is mates with one of my friends who used to play drums with him, jamming and stuff many years ago in Bude area so I guess its his hometown and why he is there. My mate hates Cradle of Filth lol so he was shocked when they bumped into each other and got around to asking "what have you been doing all these years then?" an awkward moment I guess - "Errrr - yeah, I "love" Cradle of Filth" lol. I believe Stuart Anstis left after artistic differences with Danni Filth, the lead singer. I like 'em :)
