The story of alex\'s summer and autumn months.
Well basically its been a horrendous summer of events piling up on top of each other! Firstly I had about £500 stolen off my credit card and £400 out of my bank account in an atm fraud. Unfortunately it wasn\'t my banks atm machine and so I only get the money back if the money is found
. This left me working 50+ hour weeks all summer and I am still majorly in trouble money-wise.
Then as if by magic on the very same day (well day after) My computer crashes and I have no internet, no files, no nothing, so all my work and documents and means of communication disappears into oblivion with no real way of replacing it.
No matter a said just as long as I can paint... a week later I manage to put my modelling drill through the ball of my thumb stopping me from painting for 3 weeks. Ok no problem says I 3 weeks and I\'ll be back to it.
By this time its about 8 weeks til GDUK none of my entries are finished, I not even sure if I can afford the ticket and I also have a ton of figures that I\'m meant to be painting for steve buddle and they\'re all late and half finished except for one that I managed to finish the week before I had to start working my ass off to stay financially afloat.
No probs, middle/late august I have a week of holiday, my thumb should be alright by then and I can sit down and paint 100 hours straight and get everything done...... I go to get my paints and brushes to ready myself for a week of intense Spyglass and GD painting when to my horror someone in my house has put my paint brushes next to an open window while I have been at work and my paint rack on top of a radiator... THe brushes are waterlogged and falling apart, the paints are now solid blocks of colour that look similar to something a sunday gamer would manage to do to a free space marine at GW. \"Sh*t I\'ll buy some more says me!\" \"With what?!\" cries the other half of me, \"thats £100 worth of paint and ££££ pounds worth of windsor and newton you\'ve just lost!\"
Ok one last hope......... Pawn the expensive magic cards I have lying around, buy new paints and brushes and wait for a final weeks holiday, 2 weeks before GD and get it ALL done! Work calls.... Alex you know this is your holiday week well one of managers is on honeymoon the other is sick so can you come in and run your dept.... NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!:bouncy:
Torn away from success at the last second, so what have I been up to? easing myself away from financial ruin and being pulled away from painting. Its been a wierd couple of months!

With regards to that, and I pretty much think theres a lot of evidence kicking around for this, it was almost exclusively Finn and Dragonsreach who started injecting Ale and Whores into ALL my threads!
