\"I work at Pizza Hut (I\'m 17 )\"

...oh, to work in a Pizza Hut....(sings) \"..food, food, wonderful food...\"

I selectively remove wood shavings from big piles of oak timber until traditional church pipe organs appear....

Here\'s an example of my work...

portativ.gif

This is a organ type called a portative -- an insturment used in church processions or by travelling musicians in the Middle Ages. I\'t played sitting with the right hand, the left hand operates a wedge shaped bellows on the back of the organ. And, no, this one is not made of oak. I made this about 10 years ago while still an apprentice.

Ah but sadly I\'ve lost my love for pizza. :(
It\'s not that I don\'t like it anymore, I just don\'t crave it like I used to... Seeing as I eat pizza every day, during my break (Employee Meal ;) )

You just do the wood-work around the organs right?

And I was wondering \"Marineboy\"... Is that for a love of water, or some relation to the USMC?

Ah... Aviation eh? I use to fly small aircraft (Cessna 152 and 172 mostly) about a year or two ago... Not much aviation experience other than that... :)

Hiya there! I be the one who doth not sleep, for I need not bow to petty human desires.
It\'s true, ask my girlfriend, I don\'t :p (I\'m gonna get hit for that :D)

Pizza Hut, eh? What exactly are you doing there? Baking pizzas? I\'m currently jobless... I don\'t want a job on the phone so that rules out about 80% of all jobs I could do around here and all the others don\'t need anyone :D Ah well. I study IT by the way, but seems we all really sucked on our first few exams (6 of 171 passed).... if do need any help with a computer, just holler and I might be able to help you anyway ;)

No I work cut...

Basically theres people who answer the phones and sit at the front, take orders and serve people.

There\'s people who get out the dough and put the toppings on it and stick it in the oven

The oven is like a conveyer belt, it slowly comes up to me... Where I get it out of the oven, do the finishing preperations, Cut it (Medium 8, Large 12 (But Stuffed crust is always 8)) box it, and get it where it needs to go (Ex: Counter infront of me for Delivery, counter a few feet to the side for dine-in/Carry-out.) Might not seem like a tough job... But on busy nights I\'m working to match the pace of the 5 people tossing pizzas in. If I don\'t get through them fast enough, they back up in the oven (Overlapping or burning), or fall out my end of the oven (conveyer belt doesn\'t stop. :p ) It\'s the only job in the place with any real kind of stress... But my RGM loves me because I can handle it, and it\'s like a big puzzle so it\'s kind of fun :D

I loved Speedracer! His car was the Mark 5, and my name is Mark and at the time I watched I was five. I was convinced the car was named after me! I also loved Gigantor, the Original giant robot! I don\'t remember Marine Boy, though. I thought I remembered seeing that you were originally from the US, if thats so I don\'t know how I coulda missed a cartoon when I was little.???

Yay! Old anime and stuff! I loved watching Space Battleship Yamato (or Star Blazers in America) as a kid. Also watched stuff like Kikaider. Nothing like crazy cyborg martial arts live action serials on crazy motorcycles! :D

Umm...I work for a handheld ultrasound company entering orders and making sure they get to people. Used to work for Wizards of the Coast for a while before they phased out their retail. Nothing that interesting. I think the organs are a lot more interesting. :)

....errr...his car was the MACH 5....no, wait, forget I said that...

Yeah, Marineboy was shown in the States, probably in the mid- to late-sixties. Gigantor was great, too! Also Kimba, the White Lion (and his girlfriend Leona, the name of my first ever girlfriend too, btw) ..and....Astroboy! (wait, why didn\'t I pick that name :(, bangs head against wall). Much better stuff than Space Ghost, though Ghost Planet was pretty funny!:D

Speaking of old, I got freaked out when I was listening to a \"classic rock\" station on the radio and heard Def Leppard playing. Up until then, I was never old enough to have been around for \"classic rock\", let alone have bought the tape at one time.

Honestly, sometimes I forget that I\'m getting older. :p

And yeah...I\'m not sure if they show Star Blazers or Kikaider anymore...that was back in the 70\'s and 80\'s I think, and in Hawaii. I think Star Blazers made it up to mainland USA a little later, but I think it was still the 80\'s. That\'ll date me a little, huh?

Hello everyone! I wasn\'t quite sure if it was appropriate for me to make an introductory thread, but here I am anyway. When it comes to painting I\'m a novice... to the extreme (But I did recently win a Veritothrax in a Warlords tournament. I\'m putting it together and will get some practice at painting.) I play D&D, many computer games, read a lot of fantasy... and am a loyal follower of Airhead ;) (Submit, Infidels!)
