Speaking of old, I got freaked out when I was listening to a \"classic rock\" station on the radio and heard Def Leppard playing. Up until then, I was never old enough to have been around for \"classic rock\", let alone have bought the tape at one time.

Honestly, sometimes I forget that I\'m getting older. :p

And yeah...I\'m not sure if they show Star Blazers or Kikaider anymore...that was back in the 70\'s and 80\'s I think, and in Hawaii. I think Star Blazers made it up to mainland USA a little later, but I think it was still the 80\'s. That\'ll date me a little, huh?

Thats funny because a week ago I heard a GunsNRoses song an a classic rock station. They were play sweet child of mine! I turned to my wife and said \"that song isn\'t classic rock, it\'s only a couple of years old. I remeber singing that to our baby when he was born!\" My wife said \"Mark, that was David you sang it to.\" David BTW, is sixteen! Aarrrgh! The time, she doth fly swiftly, matey! I also owned a working 8-track up \'till about 5 years ago. And it came waaaaay after Howdy doody.

Wiccanpony: You must of listened to Tom Mix on a Victroila! lol

Redawn: Johnny Quest was very cool too. To bad those adults would be arrested for child abuse these days. Did you ever see the \"Race Bannon\" spoof on Cartoon Network a couple years back. It was a Valentine\'s day thing and they talked about his long lost love, Bettty Rubble! Her heart was stolen away by a caveman. It was Hilarious!lol

RedDawn -- Johnny Quest wa cool. But what was the series with still 2-d figures with lips that moved? That was cool! My friends and I spent hours and hours painting masks and making our own episodes!

wiccapony -- okay you got us hands down. I bow with reverence to you with your greater knowledge gained in your longer passage through existence and with your deeper wisdom harvested in the fields of life, milled on the wheels of time and eaten as the sweet and bitter bread of experience. Let us all learn from those who have gone before and teach those that come after.

Time does go by. I was at the second night or the concert series in Philadelphia when David Bowie recorded the \"Live At The Tower\" lp back in...\'74? \'75? , but a tender young punk of 14 or 15 summers. Heard another Bowie song (Life On Mars?) the other dayredone by a Danish songstress and commented on it to my younger colegues at work. They replied...

\"David who?.....\" ???:duh:lol

The times they are a\'changin\'

I have no clue what that show was. The only one that comes to mind is Gumby, but it was clay animation - not still. ???
