Hi y\'all just stuck this guy up and would appreciate your thoughts....

This is version 1 I am gonna do another version so anything you think would look good would be appreciated...

basically a chaos undivided Lord on jetbike converted for a commission customer.. Heavily inspired by Matt Cexwish\'s masterful entry with a few customer specific requests fulfilled and a little of my own random craziness in there...

jetbike.jpg

Heres a couple of WIP shots showing where putty was used for adding details as well as all manner of bits and pieces from the bits box and Jeff \"Dragon forge\" willhelm\'s pewter cables...
The most fun part was removing the imperial detail off of the front of the bike and adding the chaos trim.... lots of swearing with the colours and all along making sure the piece was gaming proof.. all in all a great un piece to do and as I say already planning a second.....

thanks to Matt for the step by step on his bike\'s

Man there\'s a lot of work put into that. I can\'t believe you\'re going to do another one.

When it comes to the painting, I wouldn\'t tell you to do anything different as it looks great.

My only nit-picky thing is that I don\'t care for GW\'s plastic capes(you can see it on their plastic wizard too), I hate how the capes have angular crimps in them as opposed to flowing curves.(I hope that makes sense. Anyway, that\'s not your fault.

Awesome work.

cheers.. The cape is the metal one off of the original Ravenwing ride that the kit started as... I agree on the angular thing..don\'t mind it on capes at rest but moving capes definitely prefer my smoother capes....

Great conversion, and great paint job! I like it!
Question for ya, where did you get the \"tubing\" stuff for the conversion? Im having a hard time finding it~ thx :)

which the copper and brass tube or the ribbed tubing???
The copper and brass is from the local hobby shop.. most craft shops carry it.. The ribbed cables are Pewter cables from Dragonforge...

If your struggling to find the tubing drop me a pm and I\'l pick you some up next time I\'m in town..
cheers for the compliments...

Oh and BTW Mr Bay... the Daemon Head will make more sense when I post the army standard I\'ve done for him... Then there\'s the Nurgle Baneblade...now that\'s real fun....

Nice work Rob.

Certainly beyond my abilities right now anyway. I gave it a 9 in the end. The point dropped was from the blending looking a little blocky in places. Anyway, that\'s just me being picky.

All the best, Proph.

Awesome, I only wish I could get my blending to look so smooth and colors so vibrant. Very creative conversion.
