Hi All,
General question to everybody really. As I mentioned in one thread a while back, Christmas is almost here and I\'m lucky enough to have eleven days off work, I\'ve managed to complete most of the private work that I\'ve allowed to build up and had a marathon decorating bash this weekend, so other than the obligatory visiting relatives have a pretty free schedule. Rather than waste this time (playing WoW, WAR or watching rubbish on the telly), I\'ve bought myself a load of modelling materials with the intention of scratch building a 40k scale Epic Knight. Not with the intention of actually ever gaming with it, more that I fancied the challenge. For those who don\'t know, Knights used to exist in Epic and were sort of a step between tank and a Titan - so basically a big gun on a pair of legs. Size wise they\'re around about 2 to 3 times the size of a dreadnought, which is roughly the size I\'m aiming to build something at (all \'straight line\' work - no organics in it!).
Now, I\'ve scoured the Internet and dig out a number of tiny pictures of some of the various types of Knights that have existed and wanted a bit of input with what people thought would be a good one to pick. Though I couldn\'t find a decent pic of a Knight Baron. I\'ll get a wip post running when I kick it off and hopefully it will have pretty regular updates, at least during the Christmas break.
The only one I\'m not too interested in doing is the Knight Paladin as this appears to have been made in 40k scale by multiple people over the years. Of course if anybody can suggest any other similar projects then feel free to throw them into the pot.
