Help finding minis

Well, I have kind of an odd request I guess. I\'m trying to find minis of your average people. My husband and I are planning to build a gaming table for our local game store, and we would like to include objective markers that depict some of the regulars. Any thoughts anyone?

Are you saying you want to depict your customers in miniature?

There\'s not a lot of modern civilian minis.

Foundry does some interesting pieces in their Street Violence line. City Workers is one thought. Street Thugs is another.

If your regulars are into bondage you could always use Tacticalminatures Hostages set.;)

Stone Circle Games used to do some interesting chinatown stuff but they seem not to be around anymore.

Actually we\'re looking to \"recreate\" the store owners and some regulars as objective markers. The overall plan is to build a gaming table that recreates the several city blocks with the store in the center. We\'ve talked about the buildings all being ruined versions of the actual buildings in the area. We think it would be very cool if we could either model up or get our hands on a couple of civilian type models to represent the owners.

I checked out the Foundry stuff and it\'s a definite thought. We may need to test our sculpting skills to get exactly what we were thinking...

You could always just buy the bodies and sculpt the faces yourselves (Or get someone on commission)

Thanks tons, everyone. These were some great options. I kinda figured we were going to have some minor conversions and/or sculpting to get exactly what we want. The Pulp Figure ranges are great! Keep the ideas coming, please!

Oh, and you might also consider Pulp Figures. They have some interesting personalities - Einstein would be fun in any game table

I forgot about those! I love the Aleister Crowley type cultist in the Cthulhu range.

Not a lot to add, but if any of the folks you\'re looking to recreate any doctors/lab technician type people, Hasslefree has this - http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=67

I\'ll second Wren\'s suggestion. Hasslefree is the way to go. Not only is the Lab tech good as well as the numerous old guys but they also have a Fat guy called the Village idiot and I am sure if your at an LGS there is indeed a fat guy.
