Help for a Wandering tourist

Hi all,

This is a request for help.

I\'ll be traveling to New-York next febuary (16th to the 22nd) with a friend to visit and do some fun stuff (broadway, jazz concerts, hipe bars, empire state, etc.). Beeing both young and careless we\'re traveling without a place to stay for the moment.

So I was wondering if there was any of you guys who could put us up for a couple of Days, or if you eventually knew sombody who could.

We are both nice, well educated, young buisness school French students, with a pretty good level in English. We\'ve both \"couch surfed\" before and know how to be good guests in any home. We don\'t mind sleeping on the floor, or on any spare space you might have for us and of course any rules of living you have will be respected

Of course, we\'ll be glad to provide some financial compensation, and bring a bit of France to your appartement for the duration of our stay.

Well considering my ex got the house, my truck, the kids, my underwear, etc...

Sorry French... three years ago I would have had no problem with it. Now I ca barely help myself.

Well, I\'m basically living in a walk-in closet at my sister\'s house that I cleaned out.

Frenchkid is welcome to share it... but it may lead to some awkwardness in the sleeping arangements.

Maybe I should ask my ex... she seems not to mind sharing my old (BIG) bed with young guys.... lol

As for how I\'m doing - I still have my sense of humour.

She triied to get that too, but the judge let me keep it.
