@Tim you choose what you like alot, I think we all paint better that way, just as long as the mini Wood Elf line.

@james9487 email me your address I will mail you an elf to paint. We will be doing this in waves so quickly as you can paint...yes they need help... but we will be going as long as we can keep a supply and willing painters to paint.
@Itchy I think after a bit other minis can be used I do not want to limit this, but at first it will help us to get a reputation on eBay... and the new elves are a good target for the best price right now and a hot item.
Also DM OF DOOM mentioned terrain, if any of you want to try their hand at a Waystone or other elf terrain seems like that is another gift that could be shared.

James- as soon as you could...sooner the better but if your busy and still want to participate, don\'t think it needs to get done this week...you know? they are still going to need help week after next.


also...i wanted you all to read this right here especially the 2ed page but all of it if you got a second.

its devastating. and i don\'t know about you, but i feel compelled to help. I cant go out to Louisiana so i am going to do what i can!

Good news,
From initial reports Katrina was much, much better than expected.

There have been reports of some flooding, with people being stranded on their roofs.
The initial estimate is over a million homes without power, which will be pretty devestating to the very old or very young with temperatures heading into 100 degree F.
Last I\'ve heard they\'re not letting anyone in or out of NO yet because they are inspecting the bridges.
We heard a report that the superdome recieved 2 holes in the dome itself, but no further word.

As for me I live about 40 miles West of NO.
Wind was friggin amazing, not as much rain as we thought we\'d get.
Both my mother\'s home, and my home have a lot of branches in the yard and we both lost some shingles.
We lost power at about 4 a.m. and just got it back at 8 p.m. (Which is good because we were expecting to be out for at least a week.)

I\'ll try to keep the reports coming and let yall know whats going on.

We watched alot about BR here Dave you were on the good side of the storm though it did not at first look like you would be. I am so glad you and yours are OK you have your homes and that seems to be very lucky from what we see east of you.
Do keep us up to date.
A batch of minis will go out to you all in the day tomorrow.

Reminder we will need 3.00usd with your
mini or sent at the time you send your mini to cover pay pal fees. I will be making a flow chart so we can remember and as people join I do not have to keep announcing it and annoy us.

We also have had brainstorm, If you have minis you want to do other than elves go for it send it here if you want us to auction it and we will. It would be stupid to turn down any effort for this cause. We though will be send elves to those who need or want that is indeed what we have to offer. Not sure how quick that army box will run out so,We are going to start an

Adopt An Elf Foundation

You do not have time to paint but still want to help we will place a paypal button on site, you can easily help the cause and see the money grow. Different brackets of donations one glade rider etc...I have enough minis here to start this thing but will need help to keep it going.
We will be asking for donations from dealers and LGS from Hersey con we got a good bit of practice at this and will do our best, feel free to join us in this aspect as well. Nothing will be refused or turned away again the beauty of no set army.

Well...start and see how you like it we are thinking we could enhance the troops with your terrain so as you get one done send it on, if you want to do more the merrier, that way you are not stuck if it is a pain or you can adapt if you are creative :D

I have a unit of dryads I was getting ready to put together tonight which I will paint up this week also I will pick up 3 tree kin and get them done this week end and send it all down next Monday

All the victims of the storm, both you I know and you I don\'t, are in my thoughts and prayers.
