Help identifying movie

here's another sci fi this time.... a domed city on stilts flying through time to escape..well basically they resemble chaos space marines which are after the last surviving city. the only thing i can remember is its an ausie movie and the space marine things are called jendeeky. oh and they use giant marbles to open up time portals.

Threads was a cracking piece of drama and pretty harrowing for the time. That's another one that sits in my movie collection

And in the midst of the Cold War and Reaganomics...I was a tot sitting in the gymnasium watching the launch of the Challenger on Live TV....It's a wonder more kids of my generation aren't homicidal maniacs....

*sniff* memories. Whatever happened to the cracking B Movie fairytale yarns of old eh? Even Terrahawks was pretty disturbing with that coven of old witches! It was like a nightmare Thunderbirds...
