Help in identifying this miniature...

I have bought recently this mini on eBay because I liked it (it remembers me of the alien creature Yag-kosha in the Conan novel The Tower of the Elephant).

Unfortunately I\'m not able to properly identify the miniature. Can someone enlighten me?

The miniature is 3,5 cm high to the top of the head and 4,5 cm tall overall (to the top of the quarterstaff).
It has no marks, symbols or identifying numbers under the base.

I\'ve looked in a few likely places & got nowhere so far. I have a vague memory of an elephant headed man in a White Dwarf though, #54 from memory but will have to check when I get home. I spent some time earlier this year identifying a tub of 1970-80\'s mins & I\'m sure I\'ve seen this guy in a catalogue, if no one else chimes in I\'ll dig about more. Looking again at the colour of the metal I wonder if it\'s more recent than I\'m guessing though. B.

I have begun checking The Stuff of Legend site, starting from Citadel, but haven\'t still found nothing.

I was wondering if it can be some strange creature from Grenadier (or less likely Ral Partha).

If you remind where have you seen this guy before, I will be very grateful.

Remembered to look through WD54 for you. Sorry I misremembered, there is an Elephant with an Ogre sat on it\'s back & a pot-bellied Centaur with a spear, so the various elements were there! lol If I spot him in any catalogues I\'ll let you know B.

Because this guy is also similar to Ganesha, an indian (?) god with elephant head, I thought it can be from a serie of miniatures for the excellent Empire of the Petal Throne RPG. :idea:

I checked the Eureka Miniatures website but found nothing.

I once had a link to PHD Games Inc. which had a quite extensive serie of Tekumel miniatures, but the site is down. :cussing:

Anyone knows if this company is now out of business or the new URL to their site?
