Help me Identify this part!

Afternoon!

Hopefully this is in the right section, please move it if not!

I've found a picture of some converted Ravenwing bikes from WH40K online, and am trying to identify the parts that have been used to make something similar. I've tried contacting the person responsible, but there has been no reply.

The pics are below :

Clearly the front wheel has been removed, and a deathwing knight shield is placed on the top, but what has been used to link the front wheel to the chassis? I don't recognise it - it could be handmade by the artist, but would be handy if it was a mass produced bit!

Hopefully someone will recognize it before I spend hours making a substitute!

It looks like some plasticard cut/filed to shape attached to the center hub of the front tire and partially covered by heavy bolters, plasma cannons and is that part of a dreadnought leg/arm with wires added just behind the box magazines? Might be some bits off of Terminators or Chaos Marines. How old is the conversion? The parts may no longer be available depending on how old the models are.

I still haven't heard back from the artist, guessing maybe he doesn't check his emails etc! I've scoured the internet over the last week or so, at all the bitz shops I can find for all 28mm mini's, and can't find anything. I guessed too that it looked like an arm or a leg but can't find anything. Guess I might just have to make something from scratch! :S

Bringing this to a close, I finally discovered what the joining part was / is. Its part of the old CSM Raptor Jump Pack, cut in half, and secured / beefed up at the wheel connection. Shame I can't find the bits online to do something similar, but it does give me some ideas!
