Chill out guys, he\'s 12 years old! Were you people itching to go out and work at that age?
Putting it bluntly NO I will not \"chill out\"!.
There are a lot of people on here below the age of the Terms of Participation, yourself included, to whom we as moderators \"cut a lot of slack\".
We don\'t \"police\" the age rule, but as you may recall, there have been instances with people under this age limit, when we have had to point out that their behaviour was bordering on them being blocked from the site.
We can\'t see beyond the screen, so if someone is \"posing\" as an adult, expect them to be responded to, and regarded as an adult, with all the socialising factors that involves.
As to your comment about \"too young to learn a work ethic\", if he\'s 12 he\'ll be in secondary education, which means he should be learning a serious work ethic in order to maintain his course work.
I\'m afraid that his attitude of wanting £500 and not wanting to do anything for it rankled. There is no such thing as a free lunch and you are never too young to learn that truth.
