Hey lads... first of all, here he is:

Now... I\'ve never attempted this before. I\'m really only used to painting man-sized models. Here is my army colour scheme:

From it you can see my scheme and my painting standards. Although this one was done in about 15 mins. I would like the DP\'s skin purple and the armour the same as the above. Although I am running out of colours to use on him!

I am daunted by 2 things:
-The complexity of the model (detail, what colours go where)
The large areas of colour (Something I have trouble with)

So if anyone has any hints (I am already using some Daemon Princes from here for reference) as to how to even START I would really appreciate it.

If I aint given enough info pls ask me so I can answer you.

Thanks in advance - Andy

*Edit: I am familiar with glazes and blending, although I have only thus far done it on swords. I am okay with washes too. I am not so good with NMM so will probably be using metallics here.

Sweet

I love the mini ( first pic ) I would be all over buying that one.

Also, nice Sig. A guildie from WoW has it as his sig on the guild/gaming forum boards....

paint it the same was as you would a nromal sized figure. just need to be more carefull you dont leave brush marks and paint it evenly. as for you regular sized marine.. i think it could use some higlights and some depth... just my opinion tho ;)
